
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Louisa.E.Phillips
Born in England, 1997, Louise graduated with First class Honors in B.A (Hons) Fine Art at the Cambridge School Of Art in 2019. Specialising in graphite drawings central to her core practice, her current works explore the relationship between traditional medium and the digital process. The aim of such works is to focus on the inner struggle of the contemporary individual through studies of dynamic human motion, through her use of fine lines and precise marks.

"ABSENCE" EXHIBITION, CAMBRIDGE ARTWORKS & ARTSPACE
Presented, curated and installed by Cambridge student, 'absence' showcases the culmination of work created so far during this first year of the BA (hons) fine art degree at Anglia Ruskin university. The exhibition made up of about 30 artists, all exploring and investigating their ongoing relationship with contemporary fine art; drawing & mark making, sculpture, painting, photography and digital manipulation will be on display. With inspiration drawn from many subjects and items the exhibition hopes to be relative and inspiring.
NOVEMBER 2ND - NOVEMBER 22ND 2017
"CLASH" BALCONY SHOW EXHIBITION, RUSKIN GALLERY
I oversaw the creation of the poster for advertising the private view event. The balcony show consisted of 7 students from year 2 showcasing their work, in which I presented 3 wooden clocks, engraved with a depiction of aging hands of each of the clock faces.

There will be over 150 graduating BA (Hons) students displaying their work in fields of Computer Games Art, Fashion Design, Film and Television Production, Fine Art, Graphic Design, Illustration, Illustration and Animation, Interior Design and Photography, a fantastic opportunity to engage with upcoming talent.
